Initial aims were to make travel brochures more appealing and to bring them back into the contemporary world so people use them more instead of always booking and researching holidays online.
Is the work effective (in terms of your aims)? In what ways? How do you know it is effective (testing)?
The initial sketches do make travel brochures much easier to use, and present them in a much more appealing way but using a minimal style. I should however test it and present these to peers more to see if this is something that they'd use.
What are the successful elements and why?
Adopting a minimalist and photographic style. Bringing the brochure to digital platform keeping up to date with everything becoming digital.
What areas need improving or developing further and why?
I need to think how this is exactly going to relate to my essay, ensuring that the essay covers more of the digital aspect of editorial design, so the link is strong.
